Metsataga is an Estonian folk dance group founded in 2017, consisting of 36 passionate members dedicated to performing traditional Estonian folk dances. Through lively performances, historically accurate costumes, and folk music, the ensemble brings Estonia’s rich cultural heritage to life, sharing the beauty of their traditions with audiences both at home and abroad.
Heleri Kängsepp is a passionate Estonian dance teacher and choreographer. Heleri combines strong technique and fitness with a genuine love of dance that inspires every student. As the instructor of the folk dance group Metsataga, she is beloved for her supportive, caring, and friendly approach. Every rehearsal with her is joyful and energizing, bringing out the best in everyone.

The Costa Barcelona International Folk Festival, held in Malgrat de Mar, is a vibrant showcase of world cultures, bringing together artists from across the globe to celebrate traditional music, dance, and folklore. In October 2024, Metsataga participated in the festival, captivating audiences with several performances.
